**R.I.P. Gary Coleman**

What's Good?
It has come to my attention that Gary Coleman passed away at the young age of 42... The Child television Star from 1970's television show 'Diff'rent Strokes' lived a life from stardom to tabloid scrutiny to his road to redemption, until he found his day to see his maker. Everbody give your last applaud for Arnold...."What You talkin' bout Willis"

Sports: Sports According to Chris

King James and the New Marketing Plan
The King is finally free to leave his throne. So where will he go next?
Rumor has it that the Knicks are the frontrunners for the most coveted free agent in the history of modern sport. Unfortunately, if Lebron chooses to sign with New York, it could be the worst business decision of his career.
Lebron James has stated that it is his goal to be the first billionaire athlete. For many people, that was enough to label New York City as a natural fit for the King. New York City is the media capital of the world, and it is the largest media market in the United States. It would seem ideal for James to take his show to Broadway.
However, as American sports fans and natural nationalists, we forget that there is one place that trumps the marketing potential of every NBA market combined – that place is China.
I’m not suggesting that James sign with the Shanghai Sharks, but he should definitely make his free agency decision with the world’s most populated country in mind.

Pensar: The Understanding...

What's Good?
A monumental event took place in my life and many people connected to me. Bo & I have overcome many obstacles and broke many evaluations of statistics. Graduating from the class of 2010 made me realize that this dream is for everyone. Growing up in New York City, you are faced with many opposing forces. Statistics show that 38 percent of us(Black men) will be dead or in jail and another 24 percent says we will end up on public assistance or work a dead end job making up to 18% over minimum wage. I stand here telling the world and the many kids from East New York Brooklyn ''that dreams can come true if you apply yourself". To my 8th grade teacher Mrs. Douglass who said "I'll end up an ain't shit NIGGA!" this one is for you!

Music Update:

U know what it is... Keeps it underground...
You might like this or might not... Im mixed about it... I first want to start off with a mixtape that dropped that I'm sure has been a lil overlooked. Big K.R.I.T. produces the mixtape in entirety and has features from Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, Smoke DZA, and Devin The Dude... So you already can anticipate the vibe with a lil southern twist too it... The tape is presented by Creative Control and Cinematic Music Group.. Check it..

Another track from the DMV repper ... Released on his twitter @JUSTidmv yesterday... He freestyles over Drake's Over beat.. check it out

Styles P is back, and I guess on his new ish... but not a bad track, I look forward to a mixtape...

This beat is definitely dope... he is dropping his album soon, just wish he wasn't so quiet cuz he doesn't have that bad of a flow...

What's Good?
All my years of seeing Dame Evolve into a man who stood on top of the world to a man who loss all his earnings in one game of pitch and toss, stand in front of the many people he destroyed and humiliated as the most wisest and humble individuals. Seeing him in this form makes me proud that he came to reality that world will turn their back on you in a New York second. In this video he speaks about the Dipset reunion...sounds like Roc-a-Fella's former owners need to do the same. Listen in as maybe one the very men who let hip-hop fall bring it back....

**The Champ Is Here**

What's Good?
Jadakiss has been one of the illest MC's in the game since his early days on the LOX. Now with the 3rd installment of his Champ Is Here series, he's back to keep the summer full of hits. Gangster Grillz was in def need of this calibur and another New York rapper sine they are based in the south. Now with this mixtape out expect a solid album to come late summer or early fall. Shout out to DJ Green Lantern for always holding Kiss down and DJ Drama for helping bring back the heat because everybody listens to a Gangster Grillz mixtape.

Sports According to Chris...

 The Last Great Champion
The sport of boxing is on life support, and one man will eventually have to pull the plug.
Whether you call him him Money, Pretty Boy, or just plain Floyd, there is only one real champion in the world of boxing. It is Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Unfortunately, Mayweather is more than the only champ, he’s the last one.
Understand this. In boxing, there are many title holders. It seems that some meaningless belt exchanges hands at every Pay-Per-View fight.
Yet, there are few champions.
In its essence, boxing is more than a sport. It is the only sport that is also considered to be a science (“the sweet science”) and an art form (“the pugilistic arts”). In Boxing, being a Champion is not a matter of winning or losing. It is a persona and a lifestyle.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is indeed a champion; a great champion – the last great champion.
Through the years, we have seen the finesse of Sugar Ray Robinson, the transcending intimidation of Ali, the sheer brutality of Tyson, and now the human light show that is Mayweather Jr.
The great boxing champion must be the face of his sport after every win, and God-forbid, even after a loss. There’s no such thing as becoming a champion in the ring. That title is earned in the hearts and minds of those who respect the sport of boxing.

What's Good?
Listen! So in the serious of the of this conversation I had to title it as so. Many artist at St. John's University and some that are around are surely trying to make names for themselves in the music world these days. I love to see all the talent working hard but I hate to see it being used and displayed the wrong way. Artist development is the key asset to becoming listener friendly amongst new friends. You can have all the talent in the world but if you do not establish a solid background for your perspective fans to accept you, you will fall under. Always look at a hater as a person who will challenge your ability to develop your all around being as an artist.
Since this has been the troubling factor for me to accept many artist, I felt as a blogger I should help you instead of putting you down.
1. Create or build a relationship with a strong media outlet. (Stay Loyal never play both sides of the field)

2. Never release music (Mixtapes, Albums, EP's, etc.) until you have created a big question to who you are. (place a freestyle or well put together song or feature until then)

3. Visit every musical function possible until you have become a familiar face.

4. Find a niche other than music that can get you noticed...Blogging, youtube or simple stuff  such as building good character for everyone you meet.

What's Good?
I hope everyone tuned in with our exclusive interview last Thursday, we had it rockin'! One of the artist that I endorsed heavy was the one and only "WAHHSS GOO" Will Smooth.
