LeBron Clutch?

Okay, I wouldn't go as far as saying that, just yet at least but I have to give credit where credit is due and King James definitely gets some respect after closing out Game 2 against Chicago.

James scored 9 points over the final 5 minutes of the game to seal the deal for Miami. He finished with 29 to lead the team but that wasn't the only category he led Miami in. He had the most rebounds, assist and steals of any player on the Heat last night. He shot the highest from the field and led the team with 3 pointers made. Yeah you can last night LeBron put his foot down everyone's throat.

On the Bulls side, things were ugly. Derrick Rose shot 7-23 from the field. Loul Deng was the only other Bulls player to score more then 10 points while Carlos Boozer only played 27 minutes. Not good enough for the guy that got that fat contract this off season and no he WASN'T in foul trouble. Only 2 the whole game.

I made this comparison last night via Twitter but I'll make it again here. The 2011 Chicago Bulls are the 2010 San Francisco Giants. Here's why:

The defense of Chicago is the BEST in the league like the Giants pitching was the BEST in the league last year. Though Miami won, they only managed to score 85 points and this team does consist of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, who along with Chris Bosh, scored 80 points combined multiple times this season.

85 NBA points = 3 MLB runs

Next: The Bulls offense is like the Giants offense from last year because it relies on timely and efficient buckets (to SF's bats) to win games. The Bulls won't blow you out because they don't have that type of offense. If Rose struggles, they all struggle which is why I thought losing out on Ray Allen in the off season and losing out on OJ Mayo at the deadline was a big loss for the Bulls.

But, it was only Game 2 as they say. Series tied at 1 and on to South Beach we go...
