King James Slays Goliath

Quote, "I couldn't do it by myself."

If there is anything to be taken away from LeBron James game 5 triumphant victory over the Boston Celtics is that he knew plan and simple he couldn't beat the Celtics unless he went to a team like Miami who had a star like Dwyane Wade.

With a CLUTCH three over Paul Pierce and then a steal and monster dunk to really seal it off, James made it clear he wasn't going to allow any comebacks.

During the post game press conference, LeBron took a moment out to mention is love for his former teammates in Cleveland as well as the city itself but he knew it had to be done.

"I apologize for the way it happened," LeBron said. "But I knew that this opportunity was once in a lifetime."

Though a lifetime is far from over for James, last night he could breathe a sigh of relief knowing that he had taken the right measures to defeat his greatest opponent, The Boston Celtics.

Yes, David beat Goliath by himself but I'm pretty sure if David could have had some help he would have gladly taken it. LeBron needed help and went out and got it.

Now the test for Miami is preparing for "dinner" against either Chicago or Atlanta and then seeing if they can whip it up come desert time against the winner of the Western Conference.
