Men's Fashion: Tips on What to Wear for NYE
Season Greetings Gents,
New Years Eve is coming faster than we realized. In the back of everyone's mind is "What should I wear for New Year's Eve?" No one wants to be overdressed for the occasion but at the same time everyone wants to be recognized. Here are a couple ideas and tips.
The first look is the classic, "All black everything" theme. This look is harder to perfect than many people realize but looks great for any occasion. It requires the perfect pair of sneakers and black pants and a nice fitting black jacket.
The second look is a little more classy. This look is basic and essentially a sweater and a lighter more basic sneaker with a classic pair of denim. You can switch the look up a little if you'd like with a classic oxford shirt under the sweater to add a little energy or keep it basic with a white t-shirt.
The third look is perhaps my favorite. khakis and a denim jacket. This look is great for all occasions and is virtually impossible to go wrong with. The key to the outfit is a nicely fit pair of khakis and the perfect denim jacket.
As always, accessories such as a watch, glasses, etc. are an essential part of bringing your look to life. The fit of the clothes is the key to making it look good. Remember to layer clothing to help combat the cold winter weather. A fresh haircut is often times what pulls it all together and shades are almost a must to hide signs of intoxication. The key to fashion success is adding your own twist to it and making it your own.
These styles can be found at stores like: The GAP, Zara, Top Man, Uniqlo, Banana Republic, etc. for cost efficient prices. It doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg to look nice.

Jeremy Hazell Shot
Hazell know for his lethal shooting abilities on the court, was shot in his hometown of Harlem last night. It is not life threatening by any means which is good. Police are releasing no details at this time.
“He was shot last night in his hometown [Harlem] after an attempted robbery,” Mike Sweeney, spokesman for Seton Hall, told Adam Zagoria by phone. “He was back home for the holiday. He was shot during an attempted robbery. He was shot under his right arm. He was taken to St. Luke’s Roosevelt, treated and released this morning.
Hazell has not played since November 19th when he broke his wrist and was slated to be out 4-6 weeks.
We here at Novembers Children wish Jeremy Hazell a quick recovery and hope too see him on the court in the next couple months and in the NBA one day.

Brett's Streak in the Moats
Now everyone will say Brett is a sports diva with his on and off retirement talks but how can you look past this streak. Past his career. Favre might not be Americas sweetheart but he definitely did something no other man could take and that is the the streak. For 18 seasons Favre was a target of the defense. 11 built men on the opposite side of the ball to him, staring him down, just waiting to get a hit. NO ONE could take him out ... that was until Arthur Moats. Arthur Moats was four years old when Brett's streak started and now he's always going to be remembered as the guy who ended Favre's streak. Golden Hurricane
Golden was with Temple for five seasons starting 1-10 in his first season but winning 17 games in his last two seasons as coach.
This year The Owls went 8-4 but were not invited to a BCS Bowl game.
Miami always loaded with talent on the defense is finally getting a defensive minded coach in Golden and looks to improve the owes of the offense that plagued them a lot this year and dropped them from being nationally ranked 13 to start the season to unranked to end it finishing the season 7-5 and 5-3 in the ACC.
Miami does have one game to play and that is verse Notre Dame in the Hyundai Sun Bowl December 31st. Golden will NOT be coaching that game.

Cam The Heisman
Congratulations to Cam Newton, The Quarterback of Auburn University in not only winning the Heisman Trophy but for standing up and not allowing the world wind that is sports media take away from his performance on the field for his team.
People will say "Hey, does it matter? They will take it away from him like they did Reggie Bush." Two different stories. One story, that of Bush, was he was scared to speak. He held up until two years later before speaking and it was because he KNEW he did something wrong. This story features a man who wasn't afraid to speak because he was telling the TRUTH. Understand this ladies and gentlemen, Cam Newton is a win away from going from back up QB to Tim Tebow at Florida, to not being noticed when this years season began to the medias new favorite back cover story to a Heisman winner and possibly a national title winner.

Johnnies Get Rammed
Do you see what I have in capital letters? Digest those deep into your brain. Then put Fordham hitting ELEVEN of it's three pointers with those things. Add in the fact that St. Johns scored FIFTY points in the paint and Dwight Hardy had THIRTY points alone and still couldn't get the win and you get.... sadness. Watching Fordham fans rush the court....anger. Knowing this St. Johns team isn't playing the way they should...Frustration.
It's the hardest thing when you see a team you where it's name and pride on your sleeve go down like this. Two straight loses against A10 Conference teams who are the bottom of the barrel in that conference. Right now they are looking like they should be Big East teams.

His art form strongly reminds me of Maino's who gives you that gritty sound that you need when you are tired of hearing weed stories and how to soothe the woman. Now without further ado I introduce Duss Smitto!
