HBO is premiering a new show that helps all young people of today by using some very familiar faces. Kid Cudi is one of the most notable ones in the show but lack air time. The show is very reminiscent of the show Entourage. I really believe this show will be big after all one of its executive producers is Mark Wahlberg, who I believe to be one of the most notable up and coming producers.

Never Forget: Black History Month

Alvin Ailey
(Jan.5,1931- Dec. 21,1989)
The art of dance has been one of the most beautiful art forms ever. Growing up in Brooklyn I was only exposed to hip-hop dance until the day I was invited to 'Ailey at the Apollo' two years ago and I was speechless. Taking in this art form gave me a whole new appreciation of art. Basic Ballet has been one of the original forms of revolutionary dance until the world was shaken by a man who revolutionized the very art form of the dance you know now. Alvin Ailey has been the lead man of revolted American Dance for 50 years. Born in Roger, Texas  Ailey was the son of Lula Cooper and absent father during a strong time of segregation. Later The Ailey family search for a new life following a lucrative job attainment in Los Angeles supporting the war. Since his young teen year Ailey was always interested in the arts. He later joined the Horton school to pursue his love of dance where they taught classical ballet and native dances. While creating his dance group he creating a dance segment that shocked the world titled 'Revelations' which reflected his the upbringing of Texas. This form of dance has lead him to uplift the number of the African-American participation in this art form. If you haven't seen a show I recommend you place this on your list because this show who is now direct by the beautiful Judith Jamison is breath taking.

Music Update:

What's Good?
Music has been the relaxing therapy for most of us at this time. College can be stressful and waking up to a job you wish you weren't at. Here  are some tunes for the playlist.
The Cudder is back but not back. they went in the crates to pull out some old grind music.According to OnSMASH Cudder sample this from the legendary Bob Dylan's 'Lay,Lay,Lay' Shout out Plain Pat
For all my Wave fans Max B sends you an audio kite. It's so sad to see such talent lost by a single decision. Rappers you have to remember you are no different from us.
Fantasia is slowly making her way back to the world after her world famous role in The Color Purple.
Now with a television show  broadcasting her life she decided to release a lead song.
When not at St. John's, I guess he puts out music still. I still find this funny but hey education is the key.

Kid Cudi - High's and Lows (Produced by Dot Da Genius)

Kid Cudi stuck with his producer from back in his mixtape days.... They are the duo that put together Day and Night... Cudderisback.

Never Forget: Black History Month

Everyday of this month we will celebrate the life and accomplishments of some people who have changed the world one way or another. Black History month is to help people of African Descent to remember where they came from.
First us at November's Child would like to Honor...THE Dr. Carter G. Woodson.
Born 1875 in New Canton, Virginia and Child of James and Elizae Woodson. Carter like most children in the late 1800's were self-instructed when it came to education. After switching occupations from coal miner to educator Woodson later found himself at The University of Chicago where he received his MA. He later became a member of The OMEGA PSI PHI FRATERNITY INC. His search for greater education did not stop there, he later became the 2nd African American to receive his Ph. D at Harvard University. While The African American Community began to expand, the community was also in search of their history, which bolted a movement that was led by Woodson. This movement helped him to be dubbed as The Father of Black History.

New Music Update

What's Good?
Well it's been a while but surely we are back to supply the hits. Im pretty sure you guys know the drill by now.

Ne-Yo last we check was feeding the fans the thought of an album. The R&B world is definitely in need of this album. Well Ne-Yo currently teamed up with Macy's for a greater cause promoting social action.
Heroes -Ne-Yo

The Game has been ghost as far as making music. The beef he brewing with 50 is getting old. He should  listen the words of the late great B.I.G. "F$%k that beef shit that shit is played".
Pussy Fight -The Game ft. Ester Dean & Ray J

Lil is fresh off a phenomenal performance at the Grammy's. Keep working brother and keep your spirit while being held down. "Trap but cant trap my mind" - Young Jeezy
Runnin' -Lil' Wayne feat. Mickey Factz

Well DJ Khaled has another album out... His voice is annoying but (his) music is good. Victory coming soon. The highlight of this song is my fellow Brooklynite Shyne -Po. I really want him to return to the game although he is place is in Belize now.
All My Life - DJ Khaled feat. Shyne ,Movado,Akon

What's Good?

What's Good?
Bobby has returned. The May 25th mixtape has been highly anticipated due to the new fan base he received from his latest song 'Nothin On You' featuring Bruno Mars. The young star (well soon to be) is really surfacing from the red clay ground of Atlanta to the big city of New York. Most people say he has a blend Andre 3000 in his colloquialism some say he is his own man. NC has put their stamp of approval on this man.

Bun B - No Mixtape
