MLB HOT STOVE

Off-season is here which means winter meetings are heating up. Here's a run down on what's been going on and what could potentially go down in the upcoming week.

  • Red Sox's complete trade for Adrian Gonzalez.
  • Yankees finally re-sign Derek Jeter. Jeter said yesterday at the press conference he was "angry" on how he was being looked at. Nevertheless, he's getting his 15-17 million a year.
  • Cliff Lee, the prize pitcher this off season, is going to be either a Yankee or Ranger. Both teams have the money to sign Lee. Look for something to happen in the upcoming days.
  • Chicago Cubs sign Carlos Pena, 32, to a 1 year 10 million dollar contract.
  • Washington Nationals sign Jason Werth to a 7 year deal worth ruffly 134 million dollars.
  • Mets sign catcher Ronny Paulino and relief pitcher D.J. Carrasco
