More and more it seem that music videos are getting to be very abstract these days. You have to watch some of these videos 10 times until you think you understand the message. Whatever happened to the simple video with rims, females, and bottles??? LOL I'm playing, I can definitely live without those.
Good Music has two videos out that are... different. See what you think about Kanye West's Welcome to Heartbreak video and Kid Cudi's Day 'n' Nite video.
Shouts to Vimeo.

Personally, Kanye's video was GENIUS. Dude Nabil did his thing to pixelate/slowly destroy every image shot. Its painful, thought provoking, and all the things that depict heartbreak. I had to watch the video on 3 different computers before I realized it was supposed to look that way. Moving on, kid cudi...i was extremey dissapointed with this crap. First timer, okay, thats fine. But he had a senseless song with a terrible video lol I envisioned it as completely different. Dark, random images and lots of colors, very Computer Graphic assisted. Instead, this fool takes a hot beat song and makes it a story video smh. Mr. Director you are FIRED

Kanye - hands down thumbs up!
